Najeha Zahra, 12th June ‘08

Hello darlings…

Yes as most of u have known, i have finally delivered my 2nd girl.

Alhamdullilah, all thanks to Allah s.w.t, He who gave me the strength, i had safely did it, and did it without using any painkillers!!! Hehe…no oxygen mask used, and no epidural this time round.

Introducing….our 2nd baby girl, Najeha Zahra, bornt on 12th June, at 1230pm, Thursday noon.

Weighing at 3.3kilos, length of 49cm and head circumference of 34cm.

She was delivered at a gestation of 37weeks.

My gynae came in to break my waterbag at 0830am, and after 4hrs following that, i just had to push the baby out. Can’t hold on anymore i tell u…
1230pm exact, Najeha was bornt!

To all who came to visit me and baby in the hospital, thank you very much!
To all who gave us your prayers and well-wishes, thanks a zillion u guys!!
Not forgetting to a dear cousin who is far yet close at heart, thanks for ur sms shikeen..!!!

And now, my hubby and me… we are a proud and thankful parent of 2 kids! It’s still new to me, but one thing for sure, the house gonna get a whole lot more noisier, haha.

And how can i forget, my 1 and only cute tembam Najwa, i shall love u always and always my baby….oh shes managing well with her sister…

“AA..DIKK !!” Thats how she says it..hehe..cute. U should just see how smart she is at talking..kids nowadays eh..

Insyallah when there’s the time for me to sit infront of the notebook to type again, i shall..

36th Weeks..

Today marks my 36th weeks of pregnancy.
The countdown starts now for me. Tho’ its my 2nd pregnancy but i guess there’s still feelings of anxiousness in me.
Alhamdullilah all has been well for me and baby throughout these 9mths.
Preparations have been done for the 2nd princess, and now its just left for her arrival to this world.
At this stage i have somehow chosen a name for her but saying it now shall be of no surprise already lah hah…so as a hint, i’ll just call her baby N.Z.
I shall talked a bit abt hows baby N.Z is doing inside her mommy’s tummy these few days yah.
There’s no major contractions yet, hmm minor ones yes there are, no waterbags burst yet, no bloody show yet, but there’s just a whole lot of wriggling coming from her. Baby N.Z sure wriggles and kicks a lot more than when it was Najwa’s time.
I finally got round to clearing Najwa’s wardrobe to make way for her sister. Tho they are both girls, but a newborn’s clothings sure are different frm a 20mths old toddler rite. That explains why i have to separate them out into 2 different wardrobe!
Now, Najwa’s clothings have all been transferred to the wardrobe in the guest room, and her sister’s shall be in our room. When i was doing the cleaning up, never did i realised that so much clutter could accumulate in such a short span! To think that Najwa is just few mths away frm turning 2, but she’s already having so much clothes in her wardrobe!! Seeing the amt of clothes shes having just gives me headache..Thank God shes having a sister!
So last night i decided to prepare The Bag. Yup The Bag to prepare for the day!
-2 pairs of baby clothes
-a pair of my own clothes (for the going back home time)
-breast pads (important!in case leakage happens!!)
-disposable panties (sure there’ll be stains, so bring xtra ok.n thats y i choose to bring the disposable ones, can just throw em away)
-a receiving blanket for bb
-her mittens and booties
-our original nikah cert (dunno abt other hospitals, but in kkh we need to produce our original marriage cert in order to register for the bb’s cert)

whats left ah…ohh must remember to bring my cleanser, moisturiser, lip balm..(need to bring these ok, cannot expect me to look all dull and dry rite). Oh also need to bring the camera and my hp charger (if battery dies how to sms to inform i have given birth rite!).
Ok i guess that should be it…for now.
For now, the wait continues…frenz and families, wait for my sms eh..

 

7mth Visit

Ok apparently i went for my 7mth checkup just now.

This 2nd pregnancy sure passed by very fast and even Dr Jeannette said so. It just seems like yesterday i had just known that im carrying my 2nd baby, and know i’m already in my last trimester. 

Technically i am now in my 29th week, and the scan showed the baby is already in her head-down position. That’s a good sign, phew! Cos i knew or heard of some women whereby their babies position was still not head-down though they’re already in their 32weeks or so…now that can be scary u know…no women would like to give birth to a breech positioned baby!

Alhamdulillah from the time i had my 1st baby till now the 2nd one, my pregnancy journey has been well.

Afer my consultation with the Dr has finished, i was then asked if i would like to settle the booking for the pre-admission of the hospitalisation package. Since im already in my last trimester, its better for me to do so in case of any emergency labor that might arise.

So now having settled all the admission thingy, i can just rest assured and wait for the next 2mths to come. My edd is estimated to be at 29 June u see, i just hope it wil be a few weeks earlier but not any earlier before the 36weeks, wouldn’t want it to be a preemie. Hmm…maybe at 38weeks just like when i gave birth to Najwa previously, that would be great…haha as if i can control time.

I didnt managed to take pics of my already protuding tummy, maybe next time..

We still havent decide on a name yet, or should i say i am the one who’s still not decided yet.

Perhaps as did last time, i’ll just wait till we’re at the delivery room only then we will fix on a name. 

Can’t wait for this 2nd baby to be out, hopefully she’ll be as chubby and cute like Najwa, insyAllah can  

Whatever it is, thanks Allah for giving me a supportive husband and parents. They are the ones that completed me. Love them so much!
